Tammi Bolden

Artist , Choreographer & Performer

Tammi Bolden has been an integral figure in dance and fitness since 1997.  

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Performance Studies,

with a minor in dance, from Governors State University.

Working on a host of projects from Chicago Public Schools after school programs

to opening and operating her very own dance and fitness company,

Tri’Une.

Tammi’s dance philosophy comes from a foundation of deep

and steady faith. This is most clearly seen in her gospel-infused choreography.  

She hopes to use her skills to broaden her reach, to continue to inspire

and promote healing through movement and to experience as

much as the world will provide.

January 1997-Present

TRI’UNE DANCE AND FITNESS ACADEMY, MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA— OWNER/INSTRUCTOR/MENTOR

  • Effectively design and plan curricula for all levels and populations including events and dance shows for all age groups

  • Prepare progressive lesson plans to enhance the experience of program participants

  • Record and maintain student and company records, financials, and management of Quick Books

  • Set-up and break down studio and all equipment before and after each program/class

  • Accurately complete all administrative duties relating to dance classes (i.e. timesheets student evaluations/placements and recital forms)

  • Conduct seminars, workshops, and community building exercises to enrich the neighborhood and recruit more full-time students

  • Management of all staff - a total of twelve individuals - including supervisory, team building, and career furthering workshops

B BOLD NATURAL PRODUCTS, MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA— OWNER/ARTIST

  • Plan, sample, and distribute all natural skincare products to battle sensitive skin, psoriasis, and protect against harsh winter weather 

  • Design and develop logo, product line, and scents offered

  • Source, organize, and manufacture all products, as well as maintaining an online presence, ad boosting, and shipping and handling

EMERSON WRIT PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL, GARY, INDIANA — INSTRUCTOR

  • Designed, developed, and implemented the dance and movement program for students offering participants opportunities to develop an interest in and mastery of the art form

  • Led supervised and provided guidance to program participants in that elective four times per week

  • Created lesson plans

  • Attended all required staff/planning meetings

  • Facilitated  special assignments which pertain to the goals and objectives of the dance program

  • Encouraged and led projects related to dance that foster academic, cultural, and artistic growth
